Thursday Sept 15. 6:30 @ Blatchley Middle Scool
Parents of RETURNING scouts should come to the first registration
night. Boys are welcome, but not required to attend.

*NEW SCOUT Registration Night*
Monday Sept 19.  7PM Centennial Hall
Parents of FIRST TIME Cub Scouts should come to the second
registration night. Boys are welcome, but not required to attend.

A day of fun-filled activities await the boys at Cub Scout Day Camp.

Alaska Day Parade Lineup

Cub Scouts, leaders, and parents are invited to
represent Pack 26 in the Alaska Day Parade!
Scouts should be in full uniform and bring a
waterproof jacket. This years Alaska Day
Theme: "Celebrating Alaskan Aviation"

Annual Cub Scout Overnighter

The annual overnighter is always a ton of fun
for boys, and a great way to start a new year of
scouting. More information will be posted as it
becomes available.

Pumpkin Carving

Alaska Pioneer Home
Every October, the Rotary donates pumpkins for
Cubs to carve & paint at the Pioneer Home.
Pumpkins are placed on display and left for the
enjoyment of Pioneer Home residents.  
November 2011
Sitka Food Drive

Each year, scouts and their families go door-to-door through the
community and gather food donations for families in need. More
information will be posted as it becomes available.
January 2012
Pinewood Derby

This fun and exciting racing event is
always a crowd pleaser! With the help of
parents, scouts build cars from kits
provided by Pack 26. The boys then race
their cars at the Pinewood Derby.
Trophies are awarded for the overall
fastest cars in the pack, while other
awards are given based on a variety of
criteria. Besides the main races, side
activities help to keep the boys engaged
throughout the entire event. More info
will be provided closer to the derby date.
